Mary O’Donnell

acclaimed singer/harpist based in Dublin. Mary has an extensive repertoire of classical, traditional Irish, folk hymns etc. She will sing /play at your wedding and/or at the reception afterwards.

Her harping began with Sr. Eugene Mc Cabe; later she studied with renowned French concert harpist, Sebastien Lipman. She graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin, and holds a Doctorate in Musicology. Before turning professional, Mary was a frequent winner at the Feis Ceoil, (first prizes in Irish harp, concert harp, singing and composition.)

Professional Career:
Mary has played with many distinguished ensembles such as the Irish National Youth Orchestra, the Ulster Youth Orchestra, Wexford Sinfonia, Belfast Harp Orchestra, the Dublin Orchestral Players and with many visiting orchestras. She has toured Africa, America, Britain, France, Germany, Holland and Hungary and has appeared on B.B.C., R.T.E. and C.N.N.
